Keyword Research

A process of searching, checking competition and then selecting a keyword for your webpage. In Search Engine Optimization concept Keyword Research really matter for webpage ranking. This concept enables you to choose specific keyword that has a low competition and has high scope so that your web page surpass other competitor web pages in organic search. There are many websites available to search a specific keyword.

·         Google Trends (https://trends.google.com/trends/)
·         Google Adwords (http://adwords.google.com/keywordplanner)
·         Soovle (https://soovle.com/)
·         LSI keyword (https://lsikeywords.com/)

You should consider 3 things while searching your keyword:

·        Select a keyword which is searched many times by the users from all over the world.
·        Select a keyword which has a low competition.
·        Select a keyword which has more money bid on that.

Keyword Proximity

Keyword proximity refers to how close two or more keywords are each other.
For example, if you want to rank your webpage for pagination in php, your content should be like this: 
Suggestion 1: “Umar wants to be expert in pagination in php.”
Suggestion 2: “Umar wants that he want to be expert in pagination system in php.”
In both examples, you receive value because your keywords are in the contents. However, with the first example, you will receive more value because your keywords are right next to each other.
These strategies are very important, and they really WORK!
Keyword Prominence
In simple words, how close your keywords are placed in the beginning of contents, title, head tag, meta description in your webpage.
For better result of Search Engine Optimization, place your most important keyword at the very beginning of the following:
·         Title
·         Description
·         The body of the text
·         H1 Tag



Keyword Density
Keyword Density refers to put 3% of keywords in your webpage contents. For example if you have an article of 500 words, you have to use at most 15 keywords in your contents otherwise Google consider it illegal.

So that was the way by which you can select a keywords that have more popularity, more scope and more attractiveness for your web page. It really helps in you webpage ranking.
